Tim Saunders
President/Owner
26 years experience in set design, facilities planning and architectural design. Tim has designed over 1400 custom sets and almost 120 working newsrooms for American networks, and over 100 projects in International markets from Europe, Asia, South America to the Middle East. Winner of numerous national and regional awards, Tim has the talent and experience to create an environment that will exceed your expectations. Custom home design is one of Tim’s hobbies. He is a member of NATAS, BDA and RTNDA.
Caroline Aldridge
Project Coordinator / Chief Operating Officer
17 years experience as the project manager for BDI. She works directly with clients in matters concerning logistics coordination, vendor item procurement and project scheduling of production and installation. Caroline will ensure your project is delivered on time and on budget…no surprise!
Mark Karlen
Senior Design Representative
Over 20 years experience in design and marketing within the television industry. Mark has won many national and regional awards for his work, and will bring a wealth of experience and ideas to the client’s table. His work was recently printed in Promotion and Marketing for Broadcast and Cable, the most widely used college textbook in the United States for television promotion and design. He is a member of BDA, RTNDA and is an executive committee member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Gabriel Cameras
Design Director
10 years International experience at the Network level with a Degree in Architecture and a dynamic career designing and developing all types of sets and facilities in the demanding television industry. Gabriel applies creativity and management, to deliver innovative design solutions to achieve our clients goals, with an exceptionally strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
Ed Luther
Drafting and Construction Manager
17 years experience with BDI. He oversees production and all construction drawings, and liaisons with our custom scenic and furniture fabrication partners. Ed and his staff will ensure your environment is constructed with the high quality workmanship BDI and our clients expect.
Ari Lopez
Senior CAD Designer
3D Max, Viz and AutoCad specialist, Ari coordinates the daily production of BDI’s CAD department. He and his staff produce the incredible visual presentation tools, such as accurate color renderings and extensive camera views of your set environment. You will see your set in beautiful form before one stick of lumber is cut!
